When was the last time you were really listened to?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for June 05, 2008:
I can usually tell when someone is really listening to me, in the sense of taking what I'm saying seriously, by the questions they ask.
On the other hand, when I realize they are listening and become self-conscious, I'm most likely to stop having anything to say worth listening to.
