This weekend I attended and participated in the EnlighteNext Seminar "Living with Meaning and Purpose " in Raleigh, NC.
Since I don't seem to have "peak" experiences anymore don't expect to hear a lot of gushing superlatives from me about it. Its impact on me was--I think appropriately--subtle. Subtle and yet profound, wonderful, and dense, as in "nutrient dense," not in a pejorative sense. Dense as in a lot, a lot of substance, as in thick. Nutritious to the soul.
And yet there was a sincere effort to make the Cohen teachings precise, as precise and concise as I've ever seen them.
All of the Cohen presenters I have experience with don't come off as people with answers, they are people of questions, and hopefully the right ones. I am no longer apprehensive around them. Their style of "confrontation" is simply to direct your attention to aspects of you that you may not be aware of or acknowledge or identify with. It's already all there. And that is the miracle!
